Street Condition Update for Monday, February 11, 2019, 11:15 a.m.

Twenty City crews will continue applying granular salt pre-wet with brine to arterial streets, school and bus routes throughout the day.  Additional crews are on standby for plowing operations.  Streets are wet with slick patches due to freezing drizzle.  Conditions are expected to deteriorate today and tonight as a winter storm moves into the area.

The National Weather Service Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until midnight.  Mixed precipitation with 0.1 of an inch of ice accumulation and snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches are possible.  Drivers should be alert for slick spots, especially on untreated streets and sidewalks.
