Twenty City crews began applying granular salt pre-wet with brine to arterial streets, and bus and school routes at 4 a.m. this morning. Streets currently are wet with normal driving conditions.
The National Weather Service Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until midnight tonight. Mixed precipitation is expected. Snow accumulation of one to three inches is possible. Drivers should use caution and be alert for slick spots, especially on untreated streets and sidewalks, slow down, and increase following and stopping distance.
