Snow Removal Update for Monday, February 11, 2019, 4:15 p.m.

Twenty-four City crews will continue plowing and applying granular salt pre-wet with brine to arterial streets, school and bus routes throughout the evening.  Additional resources are on standby should snowfall accumulations increase.  Arterial streets range from wet with slush to partially snow-covered with slick patches due to freezing drizzle and compacted snow.  Drivers should be alert to changing street conditions as storms move through the area.

The National Weather Service Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until midnight.  Mixed precipitation with some light icing and snow accumulation up to 2 inches are possible.  Drivers should be alert for slick spots, especially on untreated streets and sidewalks.
