Twenty City crews will continue plowing and applying granular salt pre-wet with brine to emergency snow routes, arterials, school and bus routes overnight. Arterial streets are wet with isolated slick patches due to freezing drizzle and compacted snow. Drivers should be alert for slick spots and black ice, especially on untreated streets and sidewalks. Slow down, and allow extra travel time and following distance.
The National Weather Service Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until midnight. The chance of mixed precipitation with some light icing and snow accumulation remains possible.
