At noon, 20 City crews began patrolling arterial streets and bus routes, applying granular salt, pre-wet with brine. Crews will remain on duty to respond to changing conditions. Additional resources are standing by. Arterial streets are wet with normal driving conditions.
The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Chill Advisory from midnight Saturday to noon Sunday. Wind chills as low as 25 degrees below zero are possible. Be alert for slick spots and reduced visibility, especially on untreated streets.
