No more precipitation is expected in Lincoln overnight. Late afternoon, about 10 material spreaders were still deployed throughout the City, patrolling all routes and treating as necessary.
Some crews will remain on duty overnight, mainly monitoring arterials, bus routes and school routes. Motorists are advised to watch for another sudden refreezing Thursday morning, which could create slick conditions again for the morning commute. Police report 84 accidents in Lincoln since midnight, but only seven of those occurring after 11 this morning.
