Parking Ban Update for Thursday, January 11, 2024, 3:40 p.m.

Parking ban: The City of Lincoln declared a Snow Emergency effective at 3 p.m. Thursday, January 11. One parking ban will go into effect at 8 p.m., Thursday, January 11:

City Operations: Plow crews are standing by.

National Weather Service: A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 9 p.m. Friday, January 12. Snow accumulation up to 6 inches is possible. A Wind Chill Advisory, with wind chills as low as 20 below zero, will be in effect from 11:59 p.m. Thursday, January 11, to noon Friday, January 12. Another Wind Chill Advisory, with wind chills as low as 30 below zero, will be in effect from 9 p.m. Friday, January 12, to 6 p.m. Saturday, January 13. A Wind Chill Warning, with wind chills as low as 40 below zero, will be in effect from 6 p.m. Saturday, January 12 to noon Tuesday, January 16.

Weather conditions: Cloudy

Street conditions: Arterial streets range from wet to mostly dry. Drivers should be alert for icy spots.
