Winter Operations Update for Friday, February 24, 2023, 6:35 a.m.

City Operations: Crews are applying granular salt pre-wet with brine to arterial streets where needed and plowing emergency, school and bus routes.

National Weather Service:  A band of snow moved through the area this morning, with accumulations of generally 1 inch or less. Some slick spots may develop, including during the morning commute.

Weather conditions: Light snow.

Street conditions: Streets are lightly snow covered. Drivers are urged to use caution during the morning commute and give yourself extra time to get to your destination as slick spots are possible.
