Snow Removal Update for Wednesday, January 22, 2020, 9:15 a.m.

Twenty City crews continue to apply granular salt pre-wet with brine, and in the next few hours, City and additional contractor crews will begin plowing arterial, school and bus routes. Crews report arterial streets being slush-covered. Drivers should be alert for black ice and slick spots, especially in untreated areas.

Immediately following completion of primary plowing routes, City and contractor crews will take advantage of warmer temperatures that have loosened snowpack to plow all residential streets. Parking bans will not be in effect.
