Street Condition Update for Saturday, December 28, 2019, 11 p.m.

Beginning at midnight, twenty crews will begin patrolling arterial streets and bridges applying salt pre-wet with anti-ice brine.  Wet pavement and below freezing temperatures create the potential for slick streets and black ice.  Drivers should use extreme caution, especially on untreated streets, and increase following and stopping distance.

The National Weather Service Hazardous Weather Outlook indicates rain transitioning to a wintry mix Sunday morning before changing to light snow Sunday afternoon.
