Street Condition Update for Wednesday, March 6, 2019, 9:45 p.m.

Beginning at 12:01 a.m. Thursday, 20 City crews will begin patrolling arterial streets, school and bus routes applying de-icing brine and granular salt, pre-wet with brine as needed.  Additional resources are on standby if plowing is required.

The National Weather Service forecasts sleet changing to light snow overnight, with light icing and up to 3 inches of snow possible.  Currently, arterial streets are dry, but drivers should be alert for slick spots and black ice during the morning commute.
