Twenty City crews began applying granular salt pre-wet with brine to arterial streets after midnight, and will suspend operations at noon today. Streets currently are wet with normal driving conditions.
The National Weather Service Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 6 a.m. Monday until midnight Monday. Mixed precipitation is expected. Drivers should use caution overnight and be alert for slick spots, especially on untreated streets and sidewalks, slow down, and increase following and stopping distance.
