Snow Removal Update for Thursday, January 24, 2019, 11:45 a.m.

With plowing and material spreading on residential routes complete, more than 25 City and contractor crews remain on patrol to treat slick areas and remove snow as needed.  Arterial streets are dry. Residential streets range from dry to slush- and snow-packed.

A National Weather Service Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 p.m.  High winds and blowing snow could reduce visibility and cause drifting.  Drivers should be alert for slick spots and areas of refreeze, especially on untreated streets and sidewalks.  Slow down and increase following and stopping distance.
