City of Lincoln Street Condition Update, Tuesday, January 22, 2019, 5 a.m.

Twenty City crews have been on the streets since midnight spreading granular salt pre-wet with brine on arterial, bus and school routes.  Freezing rain is expected to begin falling later this morning.  Drivers are advised to be on the alert for frost, black ice and deteriorating weather conditions that could cause slick spots on untreated streets and sidewalks.

Please stay informed on the status of snow operations in Lincoln.  Additional information is available on the City website at snow.lincoln.ne.gov.  If you have questions, you may call the Public Works Snow Center at 402-441-7644.
