Twenty City crews will remain on patrol overnight, applying granular salt, pre-wet with brine as needed to arterial streets. Streets are wet and drying across central and southeast Lincoln with normal driving conditions. West and northwest Lincoln received the majority of the snowfall and some streets remain partially covered due to wind.
The National Weather Service Winter Weather Advisory will end at midnight tonight. Periods of light snow and light freezing drizzle are possible. Be alert for slick spots and areas of refreeze especially on untreated streets and sidewalks. Slow down and allow extra travel time and stopping distance. Please give City crews plenty of room to work.
