To prepare for the Monday morning commute, 20 City crews will continue plowing arterial streets and bus and school routes overnight. Those crews are also spreading material as needed, using granular salt pre-wet with brine. Following the late afternoon snowfall, some streets are slick. Untreated streets and areas with little protection from the wind are most susceptible to snow cover and refreeze overnight. Drivers are urged to allow extra travel time, slow down, allow plenty of following distance, and allow City crews plenty of room to work.
