City of Lincoln Snow Removal Update for Sunday, Dec. 2, 11 a.m.

Twenty City crews are plowing arterial streets and spreading material as needed, using granular salt pre-wet with brine.  Additional crews are on stand-by if additional plowing is needed.  Streets are generally wet and slushy.  The anti-icing treatment crews applied yesterday and warming temperatures are helping to melt the snow, but drivers and pedestrians are urged to be alert for slick spots, especially on untreated streets and sidewalks.  Drivers are urged to allow extra travel time, slow down, allow plenty of following distance, and allow City crews plenty of room to work.

Please stay informed on the status of snow operations in Lincoln.  Additional information is available on the City website at snow.lincoln.ne.gov.  If you have questions, you may call the Public Works Snow Center at 402-441-7644.
