Snow Removal Update for Sunday, November 18, 2018, 6:45 a.m.

Twenty city crews continue treating arterial streets this morning, spreading salt pre-wet with brine and plowing as necessary. As the temperature rises, most units will be recalled at 8 a.m., with four remaining on duty through 10 a.m. to patrol arterial streets and treat as needed.

Streets are mostly wet. However, slick conditions are possible, particularly on bridges and hills and in shady areas. Drivers should continue with caution. The National Weather Service is forecasting temperatures above freezing by mid-morning.

This will be the final update on the status of snow operations in Lincoln. Additional information is available on the City website at snow.lincoln.ne.gov.  If you have questions, you may call the Public Works Snow Center at 402-441-7644.
