Twenty City crews will continue patrolling arterial streets Thursday evening, applying granular salt, pre-wet with brine as needed. Additional staff are on standby and ready to respond if necessary.
The National Weather Service predicts a chance of flurries overnight Thursday. Crews report wet pavement and normal driving conditions. Below freezing wind chills overnight may cause slick areas for Friday’s commute, especially on untreated streets and sidewalks.
