Street Condition Update for Tuesday, March 6, 2018, 11 a.m.

Twenty-one City crews are spreading granular salt pre-wet with brine on emergency snow routes, arterials, school and bus routes.  Treated streets are wet with little or no snow cover, and non-treated streets are becoming wet with slush. All crews will remain on duty today and this evening to monitor street conditions and treat areas as needed.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory until 6 p.m. tonight. High winds and light snow are expected throughout the day.  Drivers are should use caution as near-freezing temperatures and high winds may create ice on streets and sidewalks.
