Street Condition Update for Saturday, February 24, 2018, 6 a.m.

City crews report that streets are ice covered and extremely slick due to freezing rain. Drivers with non-urgent travel are advised to delay their trip while crews treat roads.

Twenty City crews are treating emergency snow routes, arterial, school and bus routes applying granular salt pre-wet with brine as an anti-icing treatment and liquid brine as a de-icing treatment.  Over the next few hours, crews will continue to treat roads with ice fighting measures.
