City and contractor crews have completed plowing operations of emergency snow routes, arterial, school and bus routes. Arterial streets are wet with areas of slush. Twenty crews will continue to patrol and monitor street conditions, spreading granular salt pre-wet with brine as needed.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory until midnight tonight. Light freezing rain, freezing drizzle, sleet and light snow are expected. Drivers are urged to use caution as residential streets with snow may be slick. Be alert for icy patches on streets and sidewalks tonight and during the morning commute Friday.
