Street Condition Update for Tuesday, February 20, 2018, 4:30 a.m.

About 20 City crews have been busy overnight spreading salt pre-wet with liquid brine on emergency snow routes, arterials and school and bus routes.  Crews expected to have covered all those routes by 8 a.m.  Freezing drizzle and rain have left streets wet with icy patches.  Streets and sidewalks may be slick so allow extra travel time to reach your destinations this morning.  A winter weather advisory remains in effect until 9 a.m.

Please stay informed on the status of winter weather operations in Lincoln.  Additional information is available on the City website at snow.lincoln.ne.gov.  If you have questions, you may call the Public Works Snow Center at 402-441-7644.
