Street Condition Update for Sunday, February 11, 2018, 6:05 a.m.

Light snow fell between 5 p.m. and 1 a.m. Sunday morning. Twenty City crews are treating emergency snow routes, arterial streets, school and bus routes, treating roads with granular salt pre-wet with liquid brine.  Over the next few hours 20 City crews will continue material spreading arterial routes. Applications are expected to completed by 8 a.m.

Crews report that streets are snow packed, wet with slush. Expect melting snow to pack areas throughout the morning as treatments continue working and pavement temperatures rise above 20 degrees.  Drivers are urged to use caution.  Be alert for snow-packed streets and wet sidewalks creating slick areas. Refreeze of wet areas is possible overnight.
