Street Condition Update for Tuesday, February 6, 2018, 9:25 p.m.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory until 9 p.m. tonight. Snow accumulations of 2 to 3 inches are expected, below the 4-inch accumulation threshold for plowing residential streets.  Crews report roads are snow covered creating slick areas. Drivers should plan for additional travel time and increased stopping distance.

Sixty City crews and contractors are plowing emergency snow routes, arterial streets, school and bus routes and spreading granular salt pre-wet with brine. Parking bans will not be in effect, but residents are asked to move their cars off City streets to help crews with their clearing operations.
