Street Condition Update for Sunday, January 21, 2018, 9:15 p.m.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory that could consist of snow, sleet, freezing rain, high winds and limited visibility between midnight and 6 p.m. January 22.

Beginning at midnight four crews will begin patrolling arterial routes and bridges for developing slick spots. Twenty combination vehicles with both plowing and material spreader capabilities are on standby through 8 a.m. when snow is expected to begin accumulating.  Additional units are ready for deployment as needed.  Street conditions are currently wet and above freezing.
