Street Condition Update for Thursday, January 11, 2018, 4:40 p.m.

As of 4 p.m. Thursday, Public Works reduced the number of City crews on patrol from 20 to four.  Each crew will patrol arterial, school, and bus routes in City quadrants to address areas that refreeze as pavement temperatures fall to near zero degrees overnight.  If conditions warrant, the remaining four units will suspend operations late Thursday evening, as no new precipitation is forecast.

Arterial streets are generally dry with wet patches. Traffic flow is normal.  Because falling temperatures may refreeze moisture on the roads, drivers are urged to remain cautious.
