Twenty City crews are patrolling arterials, bus and school routes applying granular salt pre-wet with brine as needed. Arterial streets are wet with some slush. Falling temperatures and high winds may create areas of flash freezing and reduced visibility. Drivers are urged to use extreme caution. Be alert for slick spots on streets and sidewalks.
Lincoln Police Department reports 17 accidents since midnight Wednesday. Some StarTran routes are running five minutes behind schedule.
