Street Condition Update for Tuesday, January 17, 2017, 4:40 a.m.

Public Works reports that 10 crews continue to apply granular salt, pre-wet with anti-ice brine to all emergency snow routes, arterials, bus and school routes.  Ten crews have been deployed to residential areas to address service requests by spreading sand at trouble spots.

All arterials, bus and school routes are in good condition. Non-treated residential streets still have slick areas and drivers should continue to exercise caution.  Pedestrians are urged to use caution in parking lots, sidewalks and edges of roads.

The Lincoln Police Department reports 22 accidents since midnight Sunday and no accidents since midnight Monday.
