Street Condition Update for Thursday, January 5, 2017, 8:45 a.m.

Public Works has completed most of the plowing and material spreading operations on all emergency snow routes, arterials, school and bus routes. Twenty material spreaders remain deployed, applying granular salt, pre-wet with brine on requested and hazardous areas.

Lincoln Police Department reports 15 accidents occurring since midnight Wednesday.  Arterial streets are in good condition.  Residential streets are snow-covered and drivers are urged to use caution.
