Beginning at midnight tonight, City crews will pre-treat all arterials, bridges bus and school routes with anti-ice brine in anticipation of possible winter conditions this weekend. Fifteen units will be on the road, and the material application will be completed by 8 a.m. Friday. Continuing dry pavement conditions will allow the pre-treatment to remain effective throughout the weekend.
The National Weather Service is predicting a chance of snow after midnight Sunday, which could turn into a chance for rain and snow beginning Monday morning and continuing through the afternoon.
