The City doubled the number of crews out on City streets early this afternoon when snow began to fall in the Capital City. Forty plows are now out working across the City, and 20 of those are also material spreaders. The plowing and material spreading operations will continue into the evening. Lincoln Police report about 30 accidents between noon and 2 p.m. today, so drivers are urged to be very cautious, especially on hills. At this time, StarTran buses are running 10 to 30 minutes behind schedule.
