Street Condition Update for Wednesday, December 30, 2015, 8:30 a.m.

Light snow began in Lincoln shortly after midnight today. Material spreaders were deployed and additional personnel were called to assist. City crews focused on bridges and key intersections. Deicer applied on Monday’s snow event remained on the streets and helped keep roads from getting slick.

Lincoln Police Department reports only 3 accidents since midnight, but motorists are encouraged to use caution as there are still some slick spots on the roads.
